Sprint Announces Cheap, Mid-Range ZTE Vital
There’s no doubt about it, affordable mid-range smartphones are storming the market. Sprint is the latest company to jump on the bandwagon, with the release of its exclusive Sprint Vital to be manufactured by ZTE.
The Sprint Vital was leaked back in March, formerly known as the ZTE Quantum. The official announcement matches up to the leaked specifications and images pretty well.
The Vital will retail at $99.99 on a 2-year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate. You may be thinking; ‘isn’t $99.99 too cheap for a smartphone? It must be fairly low-range?’ Well you couldn’t be more wrong!
The Vital will ship on a 2-year contract with Sprint and you will receive a mid-range smartphone featuring a Qualcomm 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4G LTE capabilities, 1GB of RAM, a 5-inch 1280 x 720 IPS display, Bluetooth 4.0 and Low-Energy support, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1-megapixel front-facing camera.
Sprint’s Vital will be available to purchase on June 14th in stores and online. It may not be the best smartphone on the market, but it certainly is one of the most affordable devices that packs a good punch.
