Samsung’s latest flagship phone has been available to purchase on just about every U.S. carrier for a while now, but as of today we can add another one to that long list. U.S. mobile carrier Cricket Wireless has just begun taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S4, with an expected shipping date of June 7th.

Cricket Wireless is a prepaid carrier operating on Sprint and MetroPCS’s networks, and has its own CDMA towers (1700 & 1900MHz). This means that Cricket cannot be activated in all areas, and to add to the disappointment the Galaxy S4 isn’t available in some others.

To see if you’re eligible, you’ll have to enter your ZIP code into Cricket’s website and see if you’re in an area with coverage.

As Cricket is a pre-paid carrier, purchasing a Galaxy S4 on Cricket will cost you a little more upfront. However, to reduce this cost there is $70 in web discounts and a $55 mail-in rebate available. If you choose to use the discounts, the final price for the Galaxy S4 comes in at $474.99, including a free flip cover.

Cricket’s monthly rates on an Android device comes in at $50 for 1GB of data, and $60 for 2.5GB of data.

The Galaxy S4 is Samsung’s latest flagship phone of 2013, featuring a quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 5-inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera.
