Samsung Galaxy Note III To Have An Unbreakable Display [Rumor]

Untitled-1

Later this year, Samsung will unveil its third-generation Galaxy Note, and there has been a lot of speculation regarding its hardware — as you might expect for such a popular device. According to the Korean news site Asiae, the Galaxy Note III will feature a flexible AMOLED display that’s completely unbreakable.

The Galaxy Note III is rumored to have a 5.9 inch display with a full HD resolution of 1920×1280 pixels. It’s expected to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, unless Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie is released beforehand; if this is the case the Galaxy Note III could launch with Key Lime Pie out of the box.

It is reported that the Note III will have an Exynos 5 Octa processor — like one of the new Galaxy S4 models, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a large battery. None of this has been confirmed just yet, so take it with a pinch of salt for now.

It seems unlikely other smartphone vendors will be able to secure Samsung’s flexible displays before Samsung, so it’s likely the Galaxy Note III will be the world’s first “phablet” to get one — if the rumor is true. And if that’s the case, Samsung’s super-sized smartphone will be the one to beat yet again.
