Even though Samsung’s Galaxy Note lineup includes a tablet with a 10.1″ screen, it seems the company doesn’t want to let its Galaxy Tab die out yet. According to an anonymous source, Samsung is working on the next generation of the Galaxy Tab which will feature an AMOLED display in both 7- and 10-inch models.

As you may be aware, Samsung already produces the Nexus 10 tablet for Google. The Nexus 10 is a tablet with one of the best displays in the market with a PLS TFT display that has a resolution of 2592×1936 pixels.

Samsung has reportedly “received a ton of positive feedback” on its AMOLED displays, according to a source for SamMobile, and wants to implement them into a larger tablet — in this case the Galaxy Tab.

The source behind the rumor claims that we should see this new high-resolution tablet unveiled at IFA 2013 in Berlin this year.
