Nexus 10: New Baby Ad Runs On YouTube, Shows The Human Side Of Multi-User Support [Video]

Google’s Nexus 10 gets its own ad spot today, easily seen at the search giant’s own YouTube video portal, and embedded above. Looks like Google is taking a page from the Apple advertising playbook, humanizing a very technical feature: multiple user support.

The conceit here, obviously, is that you can share the Google Nexus 10 tablet with others, as the expecting couple here shows to great effect. Each half of the baby-name-obsessed couple checks their calendar, connects with others on the Google Plus social network, and video chats with family and friends, all from the convenient multi-user experience of the Google Nexus 10 tablet computer, running Android.

It’s truly a great way to get folks to understand how something that sounds technical can actually benefit their lives; especially people who might not understand the technical terms involved. This video makes it all clear, shows without telling, and comes with a great indie-rock song as well (Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap, if you must know).

Check it out and thrill to the couple’s new baby, named, well, we’ll keep the spoilers to a minimum.
