ASUS Offering ₤25 Coupon To European Customers Who Purchased A Nexus 7 Prior To October 30th

Quite a few Nexus 7 owners found themselves the victims of early adopter syndrome after ASUS and Google announced they’d be dropping the price of the 16GB model to $199 and introducing a 32GB model for $249. As you can imagine, there were a lot of unhappy people. Personally, I don’t fret about it too much, considering my purchase came with $25 worth of Play credit. However, not everyone received this credit and ASUS realizes this. Although they don’t owe anyone anything, they have been kind enough to offer a ₤25 credit to their online store for European customers who happened to purchase their Nexus 7 prior to October 30th.

To qualify for this credit, users meet the following criteria:

  1. Nexus 7 purchased by October 29th, 2012.
  2. Nexus 7 purchased at our physical channels and its online shops.
  3. Complete registration at ASUS member site
  4. Submission of proof of purchase.

Once you receive your credit, you’ll have about 2 months to apply it to qualifying purchases made on the official ASUS shop.

I didn’t see much in the store that was of interest to me, but perhaps you could use the credit to pick up a spare charger or cable.

There’s no word on whether or not ASUS will be extending this offering to any countries outside of Europe but if you’d like more information, simply hit up the source link below. Thanks ASUS!
