HTC started shipping out the HTC 10 pre-orders to customers earlier this week, and today, the company has sent an email to customers that pre-ordered the device to inform them that a “small token of our appreciation” is headed their way.

It is unclear what exactly this token of appreciation is, though my bet is it will be some kind of accessory for the 10, likely an Ice View case or a pair of HTC’s new High-Res Audio earphones. Or maybe, its the new USB Type-C earphones that HTC has worked with JBL to create.

While the HTC 10 is available for pre-order in quite a few markets, HTC is only offering this token of appreciation to its customers in the United States. Do note that this token of appreciation is only for customers who pre-ordered the HTC 10 directly through the company’s online store in the United States.

The unlocked variant of HTC 10 supports all the necessary bands from T-Mobile and AT&T, and it also features an unlockable bootloader that makes it developer-friendly. The handset will also be able to directly receive updates from HTC with no carrier interference, which means that it will receive quicker and regular updates compared to its carrier-branded siblings.
