Eligible for an upgrade on your Sprint handset? If so, you may be able to take advantage of a great new offer from the company, whereby a Sprint representative will personally deliver your new phone and configure it for you — all from the comfort of your home.

Called Direct 2 You, the service is set to be available for free to all customers upgrading their phones, although for now you’ll have to live in Sprint’s hometown of Knsas. It will then roll out to Chicago and Miami later this month, followed by a total of 10 cities by the end of August, and an addition 30 by the end of September.

Given the problems that can sometimes occur jumping from one platform to another (say, switching from Android to iPhone or vice versa) having someone to transfer across all your contacts, images etc. is certainly handy.

Even if you’re tech savvy enough not to need it, well, it saves a trip to the store at least.
