The HTC One is already available on all the major carriers in the United States in a trio of colors: Gunmetal Grey, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold. Now, it looks like HTC is all set to release a red color variant of the One (M8) as well, as indicated by this tweet from @evleaks.

While @evleaks does not say much in his tweet, the leaked photo of the red One (M8) does carry the Verizon branding on the back, suggesting that the color might be an exclusive to biggest carrier in the United States. Keeping in mind that Verizon is often referred to as the “Big Red” network in the United States and loves releasing flagship phones with exclusive colors under its network, this can very much be a possibility.

Anyways, there is no mention of the release date or pricing of the handset, but given that there are no other changes compared to the regular M8, I’d expect this new color of the One (M8) to be announced sometime soon at the same price as the other colors.
