Android 4.3 Update Now Rolling Out To T-Mobile’s Xperia Z

T-Mobile has today announced that its carrier-branded Xperia Z variant is the latest in a long line of Sony devices now receiving the largely requested Android 4.3 update. This upgrade brings a truckload of bug fixes and stability improvements, as well as an updated version of the Japanese company’s Walkman custom user interface.

In addition to the bump up to the latest build of Jelly Bean, update version 10.4.C.0.797 aims to patch several software issues, including; temporary cellular network loss, distortion of the signal bar making the connection strength unclear, UXP Air and Wi-Fi Calling enhancements and a new stock keyboard powered by Swiftkey instead of Nuance XT9 which is believed to increase accuracy when typing.
