Netflix For Android Update Brings Support For Individual User Profiles

Netflix is currently rolling out a staged update for its official application on the Google Play Store, which does not bring much by way of new functionality, but does bring its users the ability to sign into different user profiles — a feature that has been largely requested for a while now.

In addition to the individual user profiles, the latest version of the mobile app also allows users to filter out queues and suggestions from other account members. However, unlike the Netflix website and the app for Apple TV, the profile switcher isn’t displayed by default. Instead, Android users have to manually select their profile after booting up the app via the slide out menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

The full changelog for the fairly minor V3.1.0 update can be seen below:
