Pebble-smartwatch

We’ve been itching to get our hands on the Pebble smartwatch since it first hit Kickstarter, but that wait will be over later this month. At CES in Las Vegas today, Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky announced that the device has now entered mass production, and that shipping will begin on January 23.

Hisense Pulse is a new set-top box powered by Google TV that was first announced at IFA back in August. Its $100 price tag makes it one of the most affordable ways to introduce Google TV to your living room, and it comes with some nice features. If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on one, you can place your order now through Amazon. But you’ll have to be quick if you want it before Christmas.

What if I told you that you could combine the inconvenience and slow wireless transfer of the Eye-Fi card with the need to actually remove the SD card from your camera and plug it into a slot? You’d get totally excited right? Right? Aw, c’mon…

Boy, oh boy, just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse Google goes ahead and essentially pulls a bait-and-switch. I’m really not sure what excuse Nexus 4 owners are going to come up with to justify Google’s latest charade but I’m extremely disappointed. What am I making such a fuss about you ask? It’s been discovered that the Nexus 4 does not support USB (for peripherals) despite original documentation clearly stating that it did.
