AT&T is now rolling out its Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for the HTC One M8. It weighs in at over 660MB, and in addition to Google’s latest security patches, it brings numerous Sense 6 improvements — including optimizations for BoomSound and Motion Launch, and Extreme Power Saving mode.

Sony has all but confirmed that its midrange Xperia T, Xperia TX, and Xperia V handsets will not be receiving an Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade. All three devices will remain on the latest version of Jelly Bean… at least officially.

The long-awaited Sense 6 upgrade for the HTC One max is finally rolling out to Verizon customers. In addition to HTC’s latest apps and user interface, the package brings an improved BlinkFeed, customizable fonts and themes, and a whole bunch of important bug fixes and improvements.

Following last month’s successful soak test, AT&T is now pushing out the hefty Android 4.4.4 over-the-air (OTA) update to all its carrier-branded Moto X handsets currently located in the U.S. Together with the latest build of the open-source operating system, this upgrade brings a modernized dialer application, the ability to pause video recording within the camera app, as well as the habitual bug fixes and stability improvements.

NVIDIA is currently rolling out a rather weighty over-the-air update to all variants of its high-end Android-powered handheld gaming system — the Shield Portable. In terms of added functionality, this upgrade brings support for wireless audio streaming, remote GameStream and the Shield Hub App, as well as compatibility for select wireless controllers and much, much more.
