Motorola has already begun rolling out its Lollipop upgrade for the flagship Moto X, but it seems the new Moto G’s release won’t be far behind. The company has already published its release notes for Android 5.0, and it’s an incredibly long list of all the changes, improvements, and new features Moto G users can look forward to.

Galaxy-S4-Lollipop

Samsung’s already confirmed that the Galaxy S4 will get an Android 5.0 Lollipop update, and thanks to a leaked pre-release build, we get to see exactly what it’s going to be like ahead of its public debut. As you might expect, it’s heavily modified thanks to TouchWiz, but Samsung’s made a lot of nice visual changes that let that Material Design shine through in places.

Sony-Xperia-Lollipop

Sony knows you’re itching to get your Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade, so it’s making matter worse by publishing a new video that demonstrates Google’s latest software running on its flagship Xperia Z3. This won’t be the software you get from Sony, however, because it’s pure Lollipop without any third-party tweaks.

HTC has promised Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrades for its One M8 and last year’s One M7 “within 90 days of receiving the final software from Google.” The Taiwanese company had already confirmed upgrades for both of these devices, and now we know they could be here before the end of the year.

If you’re a Chromecast user, I’m pretty sure you’ll be pleased to hear that Sky has now update its NOW TV mobile application to include Google Chromecast support. This upgrade also brings several bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations.
