Earlier this year, Sony told users that only the flagship Xperia Z series was part of its Lollipop upgrade plans, leading many to believe everything else would remain on KitKat.

But the Japanese company has today confirmed both the Xperia T2 Ultra and the Xperia C3 are also in line for an Android 5.0 upgrade.

Samsung has only gotten around to bringing Lollipop to two Galaxy S5 variants in the U.S. so far — the ones connected to Sprint and Verizon — but there may be a way to get it on other handsets early.

According to one Samsung staffer, your local Samsung Experience Shop can flash the company’s latest Lollipop software onto almost all Galaxy S5 handsets, but there are few caveats.

If you’ve got an unlocked or Developer Edition HTC One M8, then top up your battery, ensure you’re connected to Wi-Fi, and sit back and wait for an impending over-the-air update to Lollipop. Google has finally given HTC’s latest software the green light, and it’s making its way to the devices above today.

Android 5.0 Lollipop is now rolling out to Sony’s Z Ultra Google Play Edition, according to handset owners. In addition to Material Design and other Lollipop goodness, the release brings a new battery saving mode, and a Smart Lock feature that promises to “protect your privacy more conveniently.”

HTC’s Lollipop updates for the Google Play Edition One M8 and One M7 has been delayed again. The software was initially scheduled to land early this week, then the release was pushed back to today — but HTC is still awaiting Google’s approval.
