Motorola hasn’t exactly been on schedule with its updates and has missed target dates on numerous occasions. While this has been one area that the new Motorola (with Google at helm) has promised to improve, DROID Bionic users are once again getting the shaft as their chances of receiving Ice Cream Sandwich have been pushed back to Q4.

Google had the Nexus 7 on its mind when it pushed out a couple updates today. First up was Gmail, which didn’t include much other than improved support for 7″ devices (running Android 4.0+). Other than that, they’ve listed “Bug Fixes,” but exactly what bugs they fixed is anyone’s guess. Other improvements listed in the changelog appear to be leftovers but even then, not much to write home about.

Well, what can I say? I was in complete shock to find out the first batch of Nexus Q devices sold out in less than 24 hours. Granted I have no idea just how many Qs Google had in stock, I’m still in disbelief. I thought for sure the price tag would deter the majority of consumers, yet here we are, looking at a backordered product that won’t start shipping for another 2-3 weeks.

ASUS gave users a quick heads up on which of their tablets would be honored with an Android 4.1 update. This doesn’t mean these are the only ASUS products that will be receiving Jelly Bean, but for now, you can rest assured knowing the following will definitely be getting the tasty treat:
