Huawei-Ascend-P6ISO-2800-2

Today, Huawei discreetly released a slightly more powerful version of it’s flagship smartphone of 2013, the Ascend P6. The revamped handset’s design appears to be identical to the original smartphone, though the technical specifications on the Chinese manufacturer’s website suggest that the S version is actually 0.3mm thicker, but things get a little bit more interesting when you start to look at the internals.

Huawei unveiled its 2014 flagship smartphone, the Ascend Mate 2, at CES in Las Vegas just a few days ago, and now an independent Chinese retailer is selling the factory unlocked version for 2,688 Yuan, which is approximately $445.

Today, Boost Mobile officially announced that it will be adding Motorola’s budget-friendly smartphone, the Moto G, to its rapidly growing lineup of mid-range Android powered handsets. According to the press release, the handset will cost just $129 on Boost’s ‘no-contract’ $55 Monthly Unlimited Plan or its $3 Daily Unlimited Plan starting from this coming Monday, January 20.

Desire 400 4

HTC has revealed a new addition to its rapidly-growing lineup of dual-SIM devices. The Desire 400 was listed on the company’s Russian and Ukrainian websites, without either showing an official announcement. However, both sites reveal that the device will ship with dramatically different internal specifications, but the overall external appearance will remain the same.

Samsung GamePad

On Monday, Samsung announced the availability of its GamePad in select European markets, and now just a couple of days later, to coincide with the GamePads introduction to the public, the South Korean company has revealed that it will be launching a brand new “Game Edition” bundle of its Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 (which will come complete with a GamePad unit in the box) in the not-too-distant future.
