HTC’s latest promotional video for the upcoming “All New HTC One” teases the handset’s “sleeker” unibody construction, which is both taller and thinner than the original model. The first HTC One had a plastic chassis that held the front and rear aluminum panels together, but HTC appears to have eliminated that for its latest flagship.
HTC has today published a “save the date” teaser for a March 25 event which promises “the best is about to get better.” The Taiwanese company is almost certainly referring to its upcoming HTC One successor, which has long been rumored for a late March unveiling.
HTC’s second-generation One is expected to lose its capacitive buttons in favor of virtual, on-screen buttons just like the LG Nexus 5’s. The new flagship device will reportedly make its debut at a special event in New York City in March, according to the ever-reliable @evleaks.
