Google-WalletFollowing its mammoth I/O keynote yesterday, which saw a number of services updated and new ones introduced, Google has added support for a number of additional devices — including the latest flagships from Samsung and HTC — to its Google Wallet app for Android.

Android-or-Chrome

Google traditionally holds two keynotes during its annual Google I/O events — one for Android and the other for Chrome, its two main ecosystems. But during this month’s event, the company has just one scheduled.

The three-hour morning session will be held on Wednesday, May 15, and it has sparked speculation yet again that Google could be set to combine Android and Chrome into one platform.

While Google’s Android platform may be the biggest rival to iOS, the search giant is happy to support users who choose Apple’s device. In fact, thanks to apps like YouTube and Google Maps, Google is the App Store’s top publisher, beating Apple on its own turf.
