The curved glass display on the Galaxy S6 edge may be considered somewhat gimmicky, but that hasn’t stopped it from being incredibly popular.

According to one report out of Samsung’s native South Korea, the S6 edge has sold just as many units as the regular Galaxy S6 since the devices made their debut on April 10.

Samsung has proven with the new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge that it really can make a premium smartphone that looks and feels like it is worthy of a high price tag. The S6 Edge is so premium, in fact, that it costs more to make than the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

LG is set to announce its new G4 at the end of this month, and it has been busy teasing its arrival since it issued invites to its press event.

The South Korean company’s latest video focuses on the handset’s brand new camera sensor, which is to boast an f/1.8 aperture that should result in significantly better photos in low light.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 may borrow its physical form factor, software design, and, yes, even EarPods from the iPhone 6, but there’s one thing Samsung forgot to pilfer: quality.

According to new reports coming out of Asia, the newly-unveiled Samsung Galaxy S6 and SGS6 edge handsets both suffer from a pretty grievous fault — in the form of a display error that stops them properly reading touch inputs around the bezel.

If you need a smartphone camera that can capture a steady image even when you’re not, you’ll want to choose Samsung’s new Galaxy S6 over the iPhone 6. At least, that’s what the South Korean company hopes to prove with the strange, shaking display table it brought to MWC.
