So, effectively, the mega-retailer is giving you $12 free cash just for shopping with them! NVIDIA is the latest company to jump on the Black Friday bandwagon and is now offering its very own high-end Android-powered handheld gaming system, the Shield, for $249 (that’s an impressive $50 discounted off the retail price), together with a free carry case worth $39.99 and two free games to get you started — Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 2 and Expendable: Rearmed.

Virgin TV Anywhere App

Virgin Media has today uploaded its official TV Anywhere Android application to the Google Play Store, so Virgin Media TiVo subscribers in the U.K. will now be able to watch live television or recorded programs on their Android devices, anytime, anyplace, anywhere! In order to download and install the application, you need to have a non-rooted phone or tablet running Android 2.3 through to Android 4.3. Strangely, there is no support for 4.4 KitKat at this time.

CyanogenMod-Installer

The official CyanogenMod Installer app that hit Google Play earlier this month has been pulled by its developers. The CyanogenMod team says that the app violates Google Play’s developer terms, and so it was voluntarily removed to adhere to Google’s rules.

Chromecast-apps-Google-Play

Google has begun to make Chromcast-compatible apps easier to find on Google Play by giving them their very own section. It’s a little bare at the moment, but it does include titles like Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO Go, Pandora, and of course, YouTube.
