Cal-Android

Cal, the gorgeous calendar app from Any.do, is now available on Android, almost five months after making its debut on iOS. But it was well worth the lengthy wait, because it’s by far the best-looking app you’ll download today, and it’s completely free.

If you’ve been waiting for Google’s new Nexus 5 to hit Google Play, then today’s you’re lucky day… as long as you’re looking for a 32GB version in white. The device is now “in stock” and available to order, and it leaves Google’s warehouse in 1-2 business days.

VSCO-Cam-Android

VSCO Cam is finally available on Android following plenty of success on iOS since it made its debut back in June. The app comes with a selection of pre-loaded filters and tools for photo editing, as well as 38 additional add-ons that can be had with in-app purchases.

I’ve been using a Nexus 5 for a few weeks now, and in my opinion, its new “Google Experience Launcher” is a huge improvement over the previous stock launcher. But it’s not quite perfect. I still want the option to remove the Google Search widget, and sometimes I’d like to see more icons on the Nexus 5’s 5-inch display, rather than bigger ones.

KitKat Launcher+, a free download from Google Play, gives me those things — and a lot more — and lets me fine tune the launcher on my Nexus 5 — and other Android-powered devices — to my liking.

Sadly, Black Friday has come to an end, but at least we have Cyber Monday to look forward to! Google is the first company to kick off the Cyber Monday action with its “Cyber Weekend” offers.
