With more than 100 Android devices out in the wild and more being manufactured every day, OEM’s are running out of clever names for their devices. Of course they could always use the highly technical Android Phone Name Generator to come up with the next magnificent mobile moniker, but that would be too easy. Instead, it appears manufacturers are looking to the condom industry for their tantalizing trade names.

Welcome to Monday’s Apps For Kids, a new Cult of Android feature where we take a look at kid-centric apps. Many of us are parents with kids who seem to know their way around our mobile devices better than we do. With the Google Play Store having over 400,000 apps, it can be quite a daunting task trying to find apps appropriate for our young tech enthusiasts. With Monday’s Apps For Kids, we hope to make that task easier by suggesting an array of topics and apps that have been kid tested and parent approved. So grab whatever crayon is lying around and get ready to write down a few apps worth checking out.

If you’re on Google+ and looking for a little Android fun, Google has just the thing for you. Maybe you and the little guy just got back from some deep sea diving off the coast of Australia, or perhaps you and your green pal just finished climbing Mt. Everest. Of course we all can’t be Mr. Adventure, so think of any creative or funny place to bring your trusty Bugdroid and snap a photo.

Well, the crew over at Blue Stacks took it upon themselves to gather up as much information as they could through various sources such as Neilson and Facebook polls (Oh, I definitely believe these stats now). Whether or not you put any faith into these statistics, it is an interesting way to look at your average Android user. A quick look at this infograph has me breathing a sigh of relief, I’m happy to report that 78% of us have normal-sized heads (whew). What would you say are a few typical traits of an Android user? Take a look at the infograph to find out just how well you know your Android user stereotype.
