Motorola has officially teamed up with Flipkart, India’s largest e-commerce website, to launch its ultra-affordable mid-range smartphone, the Moto G, in India, for a budget-friendly ₹12,499 ($200) for the 8GB model and ₹13,999 ($225) for the 16GB variant. Both handsets come unlocked free of any nasty contracts and all taxes and shipping charges have been included.

Today, Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Note 3 ‘Olympic Games Edition’. The Note 3 is the ‘official handset’ of the Winter Olympics Games, scheduled to take place in Sochi, Russia between 6 and 23 February, 2014, and as you’d expect the South Korean company will be providing all athletes with a complimentary handset.

Following HTC’s new black One Max variant which made its first appearance in Hong Kong less than a week ago, the Happy Telephone Company has again announced another new colorway for its HTC One Max and this time it’s a gorgeous shade of red which debuts in Taiwan today.

Samsung famously paid Jay-Z a whopping $20 million to give its smartphone users first dibs on the new Magna Carta Holy Grail album before it hits stores. But the Korean company’s exclusive is already no more after the album was leaked on the Internet.

Yes, that is a semi-sarcastic title. However, it’s still true. I’ve already professed my animosity towards exlusives like this, but it is what it is. The good news? Those rocking an Xperia device can download and play the popular console add-on Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies all by themselves for 30 days. After that, it’s open season on the undead.
