HTC-One-M8-back

Why change a winning formula? That seems to be the question HTC asked itself when planning its next Windows Phone offering, which is said to be almost identical to the One M8 but without Android, according to new reports. It even has almost exactly the same name, but instead of being labeled just the “One M8,” it’s the “One M8 with Windows.”

Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z3 will pack a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor combined with 3GB of RAM, according to a new report, but a super sharp Quad HD display will not be appearing on its specifications sheet. Instead, the device is expected to deliver the same Full HD (1080p) resolution as its predecessor with a slightly smaller screen.

LG has a new smartphone up its sleeve that combines a super-sized display with midrange specifications. The 5.7-inch device, dubbed the G Vista, is headed for Verizon Wireless with a Snapdragon 400 processor, an 8-megapixel camera, and LG’s latest Android software.

While it’s great to see Nokia producing Android handsets — especially after its acquisition by Microsoft —  its existing Nokia X family consists only of affordable devices with entry-level specifications. That could change soon, however, with the launch of an Android-powered Nokia Lumia smartphone.

Over the course of the past few weeks tons of rumors have been circulating suggesting that Samsung is gearing up to launch an aluminium unibody, Quad-HD variant of its current flagship smartphone and now, thanks to a well-known trusted leaker, we finally get our first glimpse of the device — which has now been dubbed the Galaxy F.
