The OnePlus One’s latest CyanogenMod 11S update is now rolling out to users. No, it’s not the Lollipop update you’re most looking forward to, but it does include a whole bunch of great improvements — including SwiftKey built-in, and improved audio.

Cyanogen Inc. has confirmed that its new CyanogenMod 12S update — based on Lollipop — for the OnePlus One has entered quality assurance testing ahead of its public release. Once the software is tested and certified by third-party partners, it will be making its way to handsets over-the-air.

Based on the seemingly cryptic teaser, we expected the OnePlus “back to basics” announcement to involve something made of metal, but we were wrong. Instead, the company today announced its own OxygenOS ROM for the One, which will almost certainly replace CyanogenMod later on.

MultiROM, the popular tweak that allows users to boot between an almost unlimited number of ROMs on their Android-powered smartphones and tablets, now supports Sony’s latest Xperia devices. So, if you can’t decide whether you want CyanogenMod, ParanoidAndroid, or Sony’s stock firmware, you can now install all three and switch between them.
