The new Nexus 7 won’t get its official unveiling until later today during an Android event with Sundar Pichai, but thanks to Best Buy, we already know all there is to know about the new 7-inch slate — including what it will look like, and its full list of specifications. The iPhone 5 has been branded the “slowest smartphone” by Which? magazine after going up against its latest rivals in a group of tests that evaluate processing power and graphics capabilities. The Galaxy S4, Samsung’s latest Android-powered flagship, came out top in the tests, with a rating almost double that of the iPhone’s.

The Sony Xperia Z, believed to be Sony’s next-generation flagship smartphone, leaked a number of times last week, leading us to believe it would get its grand unveiling at CES in Las Vegas this week. Leaked press shots have revealed two new Android handsets from Sony Mobile ahead of their official unveiling. They’re called the Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL, but you’ll probably know them best by their code names, Yuga and Odin, which is how they’ve been named in recent reports. Both devices are expected to make their big debut at CES next week.
