With its U.S. release seemingly on the horizon, HTC’s new One M9 just got its first crop of promotional videos, which focus on its many improvements with Sense 7, BoomSound, and its new front- and rear-facing camera sensors.

The nasty memory leak that has plagued Lollipop since the platform’s debut last fall is still lingering in the latest Android 5.1 release, according to some reports, but Google says it already has a fix for it.

The only problem is, it doesn’t yet know when it will be available to the public.

After announcing the new One M9 at Mobile World Congress earlier this month, it looks like HTC is set to finally give U.S. customers a release date. The company today began teasing a “BIG” announcement for Wednesday, March 18.

It’s been more than four months since Android 5.0 Lollipop made its debut, and Sony has finally gotten around to bringing the software to its flagship Xperia Z3 series. The software boasts a refreshed look that’s pretty similar to pure Android, plus lots of new features.

Having spent more than a year throwing smartwatch concepts a wall, only to discover that very few of them stick, Samsung’s taking a bit of a break from the wearables game.

But a newly-unearthed patent suggests that the South Korean tech giant could come back with a vengeance, thanks to a ripoff Apple concept bold new interface design based around an iPod-style rotating bezel. The idea would be that this rotating bezel could allow users to scroll through different apps, lists and menus without having to obscure the miniature display with their finger.

So, yeah, it’s basically the Apple Watch’s digital crown idea — only “different” enough to not be a direct analog.
