Those Angry Birds are still flying high.

It’s been nearly three years since Rovio’s first Angry Birds game made its debut on iOS devices, and you might have thought that interest in the series may have died down a little in that time. But you’d be very wrong indeed. According to the Finnish firm, Angry Birds games still see more than 200 million active users every single month.

The uber-popular social drawing app Draw Something, appears to be drawing less attention ever since Zynga bought out the game’s creators OMGPOP for $200 million. According to Atlantic Wire magazine, the month after Zynga’s purchase, the app saw a 5 million user drop in daily usage. That’s a pretty significant drop, whether directly related remains unknown, but it’s either that, or people have simply lost interest in the game.

To celebrate the launch of Zynga’s latest hit ZombieSmash!, Google gave them special permission to go ahead and zombify the Bugdroid statue outside of Building 44. That was pretty cool of Google and I’m thinking this little stunt will give rise to some decorating madness come next Halloween. Anyways, ZombieSmash! has been out on iOS for quite some time now but today marks its debut on the Google Play Store — and what a way to debut if you ask me.

Last month Zynga released their popular Scramble With Friends onto Android. Although the initial release was the free ad-supported version, users were really hoping to pony up some cash to get rid of the ads. Zynga listened and after a couple weeks, dropped a new paid version onto the Android Market Google Play Store. Now users can pay $.99 for an ad-free version of Scramble With Friends that also allows users to earn tokens twice as fast.

There’s no denying the popularity of Zynga’s games and although their Words With Friends Android debut wasn’t so great, it still managed to surpass 20 million downloads. Words With Friends has been ending marriages and creating insomniacs since its inception and now they plan on getting you fired thanks to another great word game Scramble With Friends.
