It has taken T-Mobile some time to get its act together, but today the carrier finally began rolling out its Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy Note II. It weighs in at around 614MB, and you’ll be able to download it over-the-air or via Samsung’s KIES application for Mac and PC.

Lock screen widgets were first introduced to Android last November with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but in Google’s latest KitKat release, they’re disabled by default. But don’t worry — they haven’t been killed off altogether; you just need to enable them again if you want to use them.

Feedly

The popular cross-platform RSS reader, Feedly, has received a pretty hefty update on the Google Play Store, bringing along with it a completely redesigned home screen widget, a new “discover” section of the app, a crisp new font designed to improve the readability of news, Galaxy Gear support and several performance enhancements.

Ever since Ice Cream Sandwich was released, beautifully designed apps started making their on the Play Store. Now, it has become a norm, rather than an exception to find beautifully designed apps and widgets on the Play Store. However, even with so many agenda widgets available on the Play Store, I have never been able to find one that looked as good as the stock HTC Sense calendar widget.

Imgur has today launched its official Android app via Google Play. The free download brings all of your favorite Imgur features to your mobile device, including the ability to browse viral images, comment and vote on images, and upload images directly from your smartphone.

Don’t worry, iOS users — Imgur is also coming to the App Store soon.
