Samsung Pay’s best feature — the one that makes it better than Apple Pay, Android Pay, and about every other mobile payments service — could be missing when it arrives in the U.K.

According to a new report, Visa Europe won’t support Samsung’s Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) technology, which means Brits may have to rely solely on NFC.

Samsung’s new phablets aren’t the only thing we got out of its Unpacked event in New York City today; the South Korean company also announced a launch date for its new mobile payments service. Samsung Pay will be coming to take on Apple Pay in the U.S. on September 28.

Google is currently in the process of quietly rolling out an update for its official Search application via the Play Store. Once updated, users will receive reminders when their bills are due, how much they need to pay, and, finally, how much they owe altogether.

Sony-Xperia-Z1S-underwater

The Sony Xperia Z1S, which was announced just last week at CES in Las Vegas, is now available on T-Mobile in the United States. Customers will pay either $528 for the device up-front, or 24 monthly payments of $22.

Google announced its first budget-friendly 10-inch tablet, the Nexus 10, back in October, 2012, and a month later it was available to purchase from the Play Store with a price tag of $399 for the 16GB model and $499 for the 32GB variant. However, now, as part of the Black Friday sale, a seller on eBay is offering a brand new Nexus 10 32GB coupled with a $100 prepaid Visa Gift Card for $399.
