ASUS TF303

A new leak has revealed the existence of two new ASUS Transformer Pad hybrid devices. Known as the Asus TF103 and Asus TF303, these tablets will reportedly arrive in the markets soon with a respectable hardware on board. The TF303 is rumored to pack Android 4.4 along with an Intel made chipset, promising a true notebook like experience. The TF103 however is expected to feature a slightly toned down hardware. Unfortunately there’s no word on other specifications of the two devices.

ASUS has just started rolling out a much-anticipated over-the-air (OTA) update to all Transformer Pad TF701T tablets located in the United States. The upgrade weighs in at 273.17MB and brings Android 4.3 to the device, in addition to a mass of additional bug fixes and speed optimizations, as well a line of code which dramatically improves the battery life of the slate.

Announced last month at IFA 2013 in Berlin, ASUS’s latest Transformer Pad variant, the TF701T – which ships with a revamped version of the traditional dock and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean– is now available to purchase in the U.S. through Amazon for $499.

The Asus Transformer Pad TF300 will become the first non-Nexus device to be upgraded to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Asus has announced that the update is rolling out over-the-air to users in the United States today, while those in other regions should start receiving it by the end of the month.
