The Desire 728, an upcoming edition to HTC’s midrange smartphone lineup, has leaked out ahead of its official debut with a simple, stylish design and front-facing BoomSound speakers.

HTC may have just announced a stunning new flagship in the One M8, but the Taiwanese company actually vowed to place a greater focus on more affordable midrange offerings for 2014.
We’ve already seen two of those in the Desire 610 and the Desire 816, which were announced at MWC — and now a third, the Desire 616, has popped up in China ahead of its official unveiling.

There are very few things we don’t know about the All New HTC One at this point. It has been leaked so many times in recent weeks that we know exactly what it’s going to look like, and the vast majority of its specifications. And today we have more, thanks to Chinese certification database TENAA.
According to its documentation, the next-generation One will have a 16-megapixel camera, and it’ll also be available in red, black, and gold.
