Sharp is betting big on Google’s new Android TV platform by baking it into its latest 4K Ultra HD televisions.
Unveiled today at CES in Las Vegas, the sets boast displays up to 80 inches in size and flagship Sharp features like AquoMotion and AquoDimming, but as you might expect, they don’t come cheap.
Sharp’s jaw-dropping Aquos Crystal, a 5-inch smartphone with almost no bezel around its display, is now officially coming to Sprint. The device will cost just $10 a month with nothing to pay upfront on a two-year contract, or you can buy it outright for $149.99 on Boost or Virgin Mobile.
Keeping the bezels as slim as possible is one of the simplest ways to make a smartphone that looks good, and that’s why the Sharp Aquos Crystal is quite possibly the most attractive handset you’ll see this year. It has hardly any bezels at all surrounding its 5-inch display, but its internal specifications aren’t quite as pretty.
