Verizon has furtively added another option to its lower-cost smartphone schemes by introducing a 500MB data package for its “Share Everything” plans. These bundles offer a single package of data, unlimited calls, and texts across a number of devices.

Boy how the carriers have managed to pull the wool over our eyes. I remember a time when we used to think anything over $30 for unlimited data was pricey, and now look at us, we’re getting excited because Verizon has “super-secret” 10GB+ plans that start at $100!? Oh how I long for the good ol’ days.

For better or worse, Verizon’s new Share Everything plans are now here. If you sign up for Verizon and wish to have multiple devices on one account, you’ll have to choose from the new Share Everything plans. Current customers do not have to worry about this unless they either want to, or decide to upgrade to a new device at a subsidized cost.
