If you can’t live without root access on your Android, you’ll be pleased to know that there is already a root method for Samsung’s all-new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge — weeks before they even go on sale.

Stump-Root-G3

It’s now easier than ever to root your LG G3, thanks to a new one-click root solution called Stump Root. The hack supports all G3 handsets on U.S. carriers and some international ones as well — including the Sprint model, which, until now, had no root solution at all.

One-M8-back

The new HTC One (M8) went on sale immediately after its announcement in the United States. Initial reports suggest that the handset is selling very well and it is looks like HTC might have finally hit the jackpot. Just like its predecessor, rooting the new HTC One (M8) is a pretty straightforward process if you know your way around ADB and Fastboot.

Before you start with the rooting guide below, keep in mind that the steps below will work with all the variants of the One (M8) that come with an unlockable bootloader. This means that owners of certain carrier branded US variants (hint: Verizon) of One are out of luck and need to look for other ways of gaining root access on their handset.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 isn’t officially available for another two weeks, but a lucky few have gotten their hands on it already. One of those people is recognized developer Chainfire, who has already developed a root for the international (SM-G900F) version of the device.

Did you know your Moto X has a hidden LED notification light that’s disabled by default? Motorola chose to use the handset’s excellent Active Display technology to notify you of new alerts as they come in, but the handset does have an unused LED light as well. And you can activate it if you have root access.
