Yesterday, Rogers announced that the markets first curved self-healing smartphone, the LG G Flex, will be available to purchase from its online shop or in any of bricks-and-mortar stores located in Canada starting next Thursday, April 3. The press release also includes a statement from the operator notifying potential customers that the handset will deliver its exclusive ‘full-speed LTE connection’ – which utilizes both the 2100 and 2600MHz spectrum for data speeds of up to 150mbps.

HTC’s much-anticipated flagship smartphone of 2014, the ‘All New’ HTC One (M8) is scheduled to be unveiled later on today at a press conference in London, and thanks to Canadian carrier, Rogers, we now know a little bit more about the device prelaunch, than we bargained for. Earlier today, the operator prematurely published a ‘Buy Now’ page on its website, detailing the full specifications and pricing for this eagerly awaited handset. Unfortunately, it has since been pulled. But, thankfully, not before we listed everything on the page…

Rogers has just announced that it is in the process of pushing out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat upgrade to all its carrier-branded-variants of Samsung’s former flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, currently located in Canada . This fairly hefty upgrade, weighing in at 415MB, brings a mass of new functionality, together with the usual multitude of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations.

Yesterday, Samsung unveiled its flagship smartphone of 2014, the Galaxy S5, and today we’ve received confirmation that the handset is en route to all  the big cellular operators across Canada, including Bell, Eastlink, Fido, Koodoo, Rogers, SaskTel, TELUS, Videotron, Virgin Mobile and WIND Mobile.
