Verizon Wireless, has announced that it is now offering customers an opportunity to grab a fully-customizable Moto X for just a penny on any of its 2 year contracts. Alternatively, if you don’t feel like being locked into a lengthy agreement, you could always pick one up on a prepaid tariff for the marked down price of $329.99.

U.S. Cellular is the latest operator to jump on the data-sharing bandwagon, with the introduction of its new “Byte-Sized Shared Data Plans.”

Like AT&T and Verizon, the plans are available to purchase for both standard and business accounts, entitling all registered customers access to one large pool of data, which is divided amongst users on the same account.

EE has been the United Kingdom’s only 4G provider for around nine months now, but at the end of this month, it’ll finally see some competition. O2 has today announced that its own 4G network will launch on August 29, with prices starting at £26 per month. The service will reach three cities initially, with ten more scheduled to be added by the end of the year.

Rdio has updated its family subscription plans to allow up to five people to enjoy its music streaming service at once. The family plans aim to prevent sibling squabbles over just one Rdio account, and they’re cheaper than buying separate subscriptions for everyone in the home.

AT&T is currently offering new Nexus 7 customers a “special offer” through the Google Play Store, which will see $100 of credit added to your bill when you take out a new two-year data plan. The deal applies to the HSPA+ Nexus 7 and it’s valid until Thursday, February 14. But is it really worth it? We’re not so sure.
