Facebook Home, the Android launcher from Facebook that you’ve probably forgotten about by now, has been updated to support Flickr, Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr integration — allowing users to see posts and photos from these services on their lock screen.

Pinterest has updated its official app on both Android and iOS with several big features. Users can now receive push notifications for things like comments, mentions, and repins. “@” mentions have also been added for messaging friends on the service. Pinterest will now show you search suggestions as you type, like Google.

An iOS exclusive feature is the ability to send a pin to someone directly within the app. You can also invite friends to pin on group boards.

Pinterest is a free download and today’s update is available in Google Play and the App Store.

I’d call that wishful thinking, since we all know what those “Secret Boards” are really going to be used for.

HTC is giving everyone a chance to win the limited edition HTC One by Cushnie Et Ochs that was handed out during fashion week in NYC. If you haven’t seen the HTC One by Cushnie Et Ochs yet, it’s that sexy black and white zebra inspired smartphone above. Why settle for one color when you can have two… am I right?

Social bookmarking service Pinterest today announced a new app for Android and iOS in a move to appeal to an even larger audience. If you’ve not used the service, it’s like a image-based social bookmarking system. You “pin” websites to your own Pinterest account, then share the pinned bookmarks via categorical lists. It has a heavy Facebook and Twitter integration as well, and last week it opened the doors to the general public, not requiring an invite any longer.
