Pusbullet

If I could only install ten apps on my Android device, Pushbullet would almost certainly be one of them. Not only does it mirror my notifications on my Mac and PC while I’m at my desk, but it also makes it super easy to share files and photos between the two.

And thanks to its latest update, Pushbullet now mirrors notifications across all of your Android devices — so you can get your SMS, WhatsApp, and Snapchat alerts on your tablet as well as your phone.

But that’s going to be less of a concern for those who live and work in New York, where AT&T’s new solar charging stations allow anyone to top up their juice while they sit down and relax with their skinny cinnamon latte.

Earlier this week Verizon announced that a few changes would be made to their contracts — not one of which is beneficial to customers.

The company’s current 20-month waiting period for device upgrades has been extended to 24-months; Verizon claims that this “aligns the upgrade date with the contract end date and is consistent with how the majority of customers purchase new phones today.”

With more than 100 Android devices out in the wild and more being manufactured every day, OEM’s are running out of clever names for their devices. Of course they could always use the highly technical Android Phone Name Generator to come up with the next magnificent mobile moniker, but that would be too easy. Instead, it appears manufacturers are looking to the condom industry for their tantalizing trade names.
