Cyanogen this week began rolling out its latest CyanogenMod 12 nightlies, which bring some “much needed” new features, including dynamic Quick Settings tiles and Wi-Fi priorities. The releases also bring IMAP push improvements that promise to improve battery life and networking usage.

The team behind CyanogenMod has rolled out an awesome new feature in its latest nightly builds — one that’s been hidden inside stock Android for some time. It’s called “Heads Up,” and it’s a notification mode that lets you preview and interact with “floating” alerts that are overlaid above what you’re doing.

A select number of Android-powered smartphones and tablets have been treated to the CyanogenMod 10.1 “M-Series” builds starting today. These releases comes less frequently than nightly builds — once a month — and are considered to be “mostly stable,” and ready for everyday use. Here’s a list of the first handful of devices to get access to the M-Series.
