Thanks to Best Buy and Sam’s Club, we’ve known what the new Nexus 7 looks like, what’s inside it, and how much it costs since early this morning — but at an Android event in San Francisco just now, Google’s Sundar Pichai has finally made it all official.

As expected, the new Nexus 7 will be the first device with Android 4.3, and you can pre-order yours today.

The new Nexus 7 won’t get its official unveiling until later today during an Android event with Sundar Pichai, but thanks to Best Buy, we already know all there is to know about the new 7-inch slate — including what it will look like, and its full list of specifications. Google’s Sundar Pichai will host an Android event in San Francisco today, where we expect to see Android 4.3 and the new Nexus 7 get their official unveilings. But the latter has already been put up for pre-order at Best Buy and Sam’s Club, where its price tag and specifications are confirmed.

As expected, the second-generation Nexus 7 will be the first to run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and it will do so with the help of a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Adreno 320 graphics, 2GB of RAM, and either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.

While we already know what the Nexus 7 II will look like thanks to those leaked press shots that surfaced this morning, some things — such as its price tag and its specifications — have remained a mystery… until now. This leaked Best Buy flyer confirms the tablet’s price, release date, and display resolution.

Google’s second-generation Nexus 7 tablet is right around the corner, and these official press shots that have been leaked online today show us exactly what it’s going to look like.

It’s not vastly different to its predecessor, but you’ll notice right away that there are a number of external improvements, including a rear-facing camera and a notification LED.
