Samsung is killing off Music Hub and replacing it with “something even better,” the company said in a statement to customers today. It will give users until July 1 to download all of their purchased content and redeem any vouchers, at which point Music Hub as we know it will be no more.

But what will be its exciting new replacement?

Samsung has today confirmed that the new Galaxy Note 8.0 will launch in the United States on April 11, priced at $399. The device will be available in-stores and online from a number of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, Staples, and TigerDirect.com.

Samsung’s Music Hub service, which originally launched in the UK, is now available to Galaxy S III owners here in the U.S. Samsung’s Music Hub is like a Google Muisc/iTunes/Amazon Cloud Player/Spotify/Pandora Radio/etc., etc., all mixed into one. If you’re familiar with any of those services, then the Music Hub concept will be extremely familiar to you.
