Traffic hopping was never as much fun as it is in hit mobile game Crossy Road, and now you can play with up to three of your Android-toting friends in Wi-Fi enabled multiplayer mode.

You’ll weave through traffic with your buddies, able to bump each other into oncoming traffic to snap up all the coins and get the highest score, but if all four of you get squashed, it’s game over, so you’ll have to strategically revive your enemies along the way, too.

Ahead of the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco this week, Google has announced a number of changes and improvements it is making to Google Play Games. In addition to adding support for cross-platform multiplayer gaming with iOS, the search giant will also offer virtual gifting and support for multiplayer game invites.

Days of Wonder’s horribly addictive Ticket to Ride has been a massive success ever since its launch on the iPad years ago; in fact, it’s probably one of a small handful of games that are actually better in digitized format on a tablet’s screen than the physical board games they’re modeled after (Wired’s Geekmom has an interesting comparo of the two versions).

And now, almost exactly two years after it debuted on the iPad, it’s available for Android. Days of Wonder, what took you so long?

Gameloft, in partnership with Mattel, has released a new version of its extremely popular UNO game that’s focused on online multiplayer. The new game is called UNO & Friends, and it provides users with customizable cross-platform muliplayer games that are are heaps of fun — and best of all, they are absolutely free to play.

Kings Bounty

Nival, a Russian games developer, today announced that its popular turn-based strategy game, King’s Bounty: Legions, is available on the Google Play store. This is the first time a game from this serieis, previously on Facebook and iOS, has come to the Android app store. The game will also be coming to Mac OS and Kindle Fire soon.
