Last year, Google acquired the most popular office suite application on the Play Store, Quickoffice, and now, the Google Play management team have officially announced that the service is free for everyone on Android and iOS.

Microsoft Office Mobile makes its debut on Android today, almost seven weeks after it was released on the iPhone. The app allows you to open, edit, and create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents from virtually anywhere on your smartphone. You will need a qualifying Office 365 subscription to use it, however.

Microsoft has released a fairly major update for its OneNote for Android app, bringing several new features which contribute to a complete UI overhaul. Some of the changes include support for Office 365 notebooks, and new formatting options to make your notes as beautiful and as consistent as possible.
