OnePlus is about to begin rolling out its latest OxygenOS update for the new OnePlus X, which brings a fix for microSD card issues, security patches, and more optimizations. The company expects the update to be available to all users within 48 hours.

Recent reports from reliable sources have claimed that the Galaxy Note 5, like the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, will not have a microSD card slot — and that’s been corroborated by leaked CAD drawings of the device. But according to one Sprint document, Samsung may have had a change of heart.

Google has rolled out an update for its Play Music app for Android that prevents songs from vanishing from your microSD card. The frustrating bug was introduced several weeks ago, and it left users unable to find tracks they had stored locally for offline listening.

After being killed by Google and nearly disappearing from all the popular Android devices released last year, microSD card slots have made a comeback in all the major devices unveiled this year. This includes the likes of the HTC One M8, the Xperia Z2, the Moto E, LG G3, Desire 816 and the One mini 2.
