HTC is expected to launch its next-generation One M10 smartphone after Mobile World Congress next month, and according to one reliable tipster, it will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 820 processor, and will have HTC’s new Sense 8 user interface pre-installed.

HTC’s new One X9 handset has leaked out again — this time in new, high-quality photos that reveal its impressive design in all its glory. The device is reminiscent of the new One A9, but its metal unibody design isn’t quite as iPhone-like.

Google is in talks with chipset manufacturers with a view to designing its own processors and other components for future Android devices, according to a new report.

The company is said to be interested in following Apple’s footsteps in an effort to make Android “more competitive” at the high end of the market, and to “solve other major problems.”
