In case you’ve forgotten that the Galaxy S5 is now on sale worldwide, Samsung’s going to provide you with some handy reminders the next time you catch a flight from Heathrow airport.

The South Korean firm is splashing out even more cash on marketing to take over Terminal 5 — the world’s busiest airport terminal — and put Galaxy S5 ads on billboards, displays, signs, and even the Heathrow website.

You literally won’t be able to take a flight from Heathrow without seeing a Galaxy S5 ad somewhere.

HTC today kicked off its “Change” marketing campaign that features Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. The Taiwanese company is calling this its “most powerful marketing campaign to date,” part of a “long-term strategy that celebrates HTC’s disruptive impact on the mobile industry over its 17-year history.”

LG G2 Snap

To celebrate the launch of its flagship G2, LG held a pretty crazy promotional event in Seoul on Friday, which gave attendees the opportunity to win a voucher for a free handset by catching one of 100 helium-filled balloons that were released into the air.

That company is Samsung. In 2012, Samsung outspent Apple by more than three to one in smartphone advertising, with a number of large campaigns on TV, in print, and on the Internet. In total, the Korean company spent $401 million advertising its phones.

Motorola no longer has its sight solely on Apple as they’ve now turned their attack towards Android’s top dog Samsung. Motorola’s latest ad campaign pits the Motorola RAZR HD against the Samsung Galaxy S III, with a slogan of “It’s not easy. downloading… from another galaxy.” Motorola boasts an outrageous claim of 49% faster download speeds, which I find extremely difficult to believe considering the U.S. Samsung Galaxy S III has the same Qualcomm processor and modem as the RAZR HD — not to mention 1GB more RAM.
