In an effort to keep up with its competitors, Sprint announced this morning that it has launched its high-speed 4G LTE data in an additional 40 locations across the United States, bumping its networks total number of nationwide markets up to 340.

A seemingly harmless flashlight application built for Android has tricked tens of millions of users into handing over personal data, the Federal Trade Commission has revealed. Developed by GoldenShores Technologies, the Brightest Flashlight app took device ID and location data without informing users, then passed it on to advertisers.

AT&T has yet again expanded its super fast LTE network – by activating 4G in 6 new locations, as well as extending LTE coverage in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. The announcement was made today in a series of sequential press releases on the carrier’s website.

Glympse has announced that it will be teaming up with Evernote to enable users to archive a list of their Glympse trails within their Evernote notebooks. By utilizing the built-in sharing features in the Android OS, Glympse location data can be automatically shared to a dedicated “My Glympse Trails” folder in their Evernote account.
