Samsung has denied that it is scrambling to release the Galaxy Note 5 early to grab sales before Apple launches the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The South Korean firm has also dismissed reports that claim its new Galaxy S6 and S6 edge aren’t selling well.

After years of disappointing design choices, Samsung stepped up its game with the Galaxy S6 and delivered a device that not only looks great, but has the specifications and software to match its high-end form factor.

It’s no surprise, then, that fans cannot wait to get their hands on the device. In fact, it’s already selling so well that Samsung is confident the Galaxy S6 will be its best-selling smartphone to date.

Samsung’s smartphone sales may have dipped in recent months, but its new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are already off to an excellent start. Since their unveiling at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this month, more than 20 million handsets have been pre-ordered.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has received plenty of praise since making its debut last month, and like all of Samsung’s flagship devices, it looks like it’s selling incredibly well. Samsung CEO JK Shin has this week revealed that the company has already shipped 5 million devices in just one month.

Samsung’s flagship smartphones have been a big success ever since the hugely popular Galaxy S II, so it’s no surprise to see the latest is doing well. Since making its debut back in April, the Galaxy S4 has surpassed 40 million sales worldwide, according to Samsung CEO JK Shin.
